And They Sinned SAL

Our Sisterhood of Sinful Stitchers, alias the ATS Stitchalong, is adding new people. I hope, if you are trying to stitch it alone and are putting it aside, you will consider joining us. The motivation is great. Mine was in my WIP system for a couple of years, though I really wanted to get it done. I just was stitching alone, and couldn't get myself to move on with it. I know Carol has mentioned hers, and others of you, too. Please check out our blog: http://andtheysinned.blogspot.com/ And then email Patti to join. The above picture is obviously my progress of last month, and I'll be stitching away this week, too!! I'm about a third of the way down this 4.5' long piece using Sampler Threads on 38 ct. fabric. It really is great fun to stitch and one I consider a legacy piece for my children and grandchildren. Come be inspired and join us so we can all finish this really beautiful piece!

I just found your blog today and I'm loving it! You do beautiful work. Your ATS is gorgeous - I wish I had the time to stitch something so big (I have 3 little boys). I live in Florida too (Treasure Island). I was just down in Bonita Springs visiting my dad. It's beautiful down there. Looking forward to reading more of your blog! :)

I haven't "restarted" mine yet. I agree, this piece is definetely an heirloom :)

I'm not stitching this one, but just wanted to say, "go for it!". I think it's wonderful and enjoy so much seeing all of the progress people make on this one. You go, girl!

It looks absolutely amazing Deb - I can't wait to start mine. Everything is ready - I just have to go to my son's wedding next weekend and then I can start. Oh yeah I almost forgot - I need new fabric for it too because I cut mine too short. Never mind it's only money.

I'm new to samplers and haven't started any yet, but have a whole long list of pieces I want to stitch........but it's a long list and I don't know if I'll manage to fit them all in, lol.

I love this one too and will follow your progress to see how it turns out.

I've got so many 'in the works' projects that I keep thinking I'll have to find some SAL's for some of them to motivate me. I might have to try out a rotation too. It seems to work wonders for everyone that I see using one. I don't know how disciplined I am though.........I suppose every little trick helps, lol
