OMGoodness - IT's A BOY !!!

DD had been given the news LAST week that she was carrying a girl, by the doctor and nurse doing her ultrasound test. Well, THIS week, they found a new little something!! IT'S A BOY!! Here is his profile...isn't he beautiful? His name is Kellan.

Jessica nearly jumped off the table, she says, and yelled, "What!!"

Her DH started laughing and said, "Sorry, Son. We've been calling you Mackenzie for a week!" LOL

Oh, Boy! Just goes to show even in this age of miracles, you can never count your eggs too quickly, I guess.... :)

Oh No! Well, at least they found out now and not after he was born! I've heard of that happening. All the parents have are either pink or blue clothes! :) Too funny! He is beautiful! Can't wait to meet him! :)

Congratulations! What wonderful news. I remember when I first found out my baby was a boy I was a little disappointed (no dolls, no pink and purple clothes). Now I can't imagine not having a little boy to love. I even enjoyed learning all about trucks!

Hi, Everyone, and thanks for the comments! Jessica and I have been checking them daily (hourly?!) She is now quite resolved and happy about her little "man-cub"...I'm calling him Kel-lion...and she says he's the jungle VIP! Thanks for your dear words of encouragement.
Hugs, Deb and Jessica

I think Mackenzie could be used for a boy's name as well couldn't it? After all, one of our former Prime Ministers here in Canada was William Lyon MacKenzie King!
Congrats to the proud parents-to-be!

Lol! This is the reason why I didn't start making the christening gown until after the baby was born - a surprise is always possible. :D

Kellan is a wonderful name.

Oh, doesn't modern medicine play the most wonderful jokes some times. Congratulations on the new grandson. I know how precious he is to you all. One day I read a newspaper birth announcement and it said "thanks to amniosentisis our son will be wearing pink until he is 5." LOL LOL Congrats and my prayers are with you and your family
