At the end of our contest, the winner will receive a package of wonderful goodies from me!!
The history of our Voodoo Dolls goes back to earlier last year when Annemarie, Harmien and I began to be tormented by unexpected spots of "unexplained tormenting bad luck moments." An example is when An, terrified of spiders, chased a huge spider around and under her chair with a broom, only to discover it was a large dust ball! And, I searched frantically all over my neighborhood for my missing little Yorkie, only to find she was inside the house waiting to greet me when I came home in a sweat! And, of course, Harmien had asbestositos! Things like this....
So, we decided to take some action against the goblins and goolies who were messing with our lives. Thus, the Voodoo Boy and the McGoblin Girl were born!! Harmien made one for An, and I made one for Harmien! They are being made into pincushions even as we speak. We'll have to check with An to see if hers has done some good at her house....
Hugs,
Deb

I like Anhade - or Anhardeb for An, Harmien and you. Who better to represent this beautiful (just kidding) girl

I did a little poking around online, and ran across this information: Ezili Dantor (pronounced eh-zee-lee Dahn-tor) is by far one of the most popular female Petro Lwa (voodoo spirit). She can be a tough lady, a little wild, but before all she is a mother. She is the most perfect mother one could wish to have. Dantor is a mother who watches and cares for her children very much. Dantor will also help a person for very little sacrifice on their part.

SoI'd like to suggest Dolly Dantor for her name.

I combined all of your lovely names to come up with Queen Harmannie Rose.
Perhaps a differnet spelling of Harmannie to get the Harmony you ladies want and need when reaching for this doll.

Queen Harmannee Rose??

Queen Harmanney Rose??

Anyhoo I think this doll was a Queen in her past life. This is why she can fight the evil injustices of life!!Well at least she can make you feel better!! LOL

How about Luscious Lily the Pink after the song by The Scaffold - you know Lily the Pink the saviour of the human race ... the one that invented medicinal compound and that's all the lyrics I can remember and I bet you are really glad you can't hear me singng. I love this doll as you know! She is just absolutely gorgeous and needs a gorgeous name. My personal favorite out of all the names (not including my name of course is Scary Mary! I will write to you properly one day this week I promise. Love you heaps and heaps my little gorgeous friend. Patti xxx
