I Survived The Resection Surgery!!!

Ha!!! I'm 3 weeks out from the horrid resection surgery and am feeling stronger every day. I'm so thankful for all of your notes and prayers and good thoughts over the past months as I've fought through this awful, and truly exhausting situation. As I get my strength back, it's unbelievable to me just how truly drained of energy I've been with the constant infection in my body!

Now I feel so grateful to be getting better. I'm also so grateful to Giulia, Harmien, Barbara, Annemarie, Jenn, Wendy, Marie, and Jinger who stayed particularly close as friends and kept my spirits up. Thank God they understood and were there for me in one of the lowest times of my life.

I feel so blessed by those friends who took the time to write a note of love and support to me on my last blog. What would I have done without your encouragement and friendship? Thank you so much for caring and sharing your experiences to let me know I could do it and stitching would go on!!

Truly, this is such a blessed Christmas holiday which you all have made for me. I hope you each receive every blessing and joy back 100 times for all you've meant and done for me.

Love, hugs and a wonderful winter holiday!
Deb

I haven't had a lot of time for blogging the past few months and was unaware of your recent illness. I know how incredibly tough it can be to go through this type of surgery and I'm so sorry you had to deal with it. I'm glad you had such good friends to help you through it. All my thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery. Have a very blessed Christmas and I'll check in on you again in the new year.

Oh Deb, I can't tell you how relieved I was when I found your comment on my blog this morning! I'm so, so happy that you're feeling better and that you will be able to enjoy this Christmas with your precious family. My thoughts will continue to be with you. You may have sent Gertrude Vile-Emma Hollandwards (where she and Vinnie the Voodoo Boy have been trying to do some baby-making), but we will all do our best to ward off any future misery for you on her behalf. Hugs to you, my friend!

Oh I'm so glad to hear things are improving for you! I'm up in Scotland struggling with a really horrible cold and freezing myself in an effort to get some fresh air to try and relieve my cough. Thought I'd just pop by to see how you were doing.

Hope you felt good enough to have a wonderful Christmas!
