Here's another progress picture of my house in Carissa's Neighborhood RR. I'm happy to have gotten the raspberry colors in for the roof and chimney's and the blue doorways. More stitching on it tonight! Thanks for your encouragement, Carissa, and all my lovely stitching friends!

I was in touch with an old Bookclub member from my Wellesley Bookgroup days...many of you have heard me talking about them. The time of the September Reunion is coming, and Louise was so thoughtful and kind to offer to keep me at her house if I go to MA for the party! So sweet of her.

She's going to be coming by to see my blog...and probably dropping by some of yours, too. So, bookish friends, comment here so she'll know who you are!!! LOL I told her many of us are now in the thoroughs of reading "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," but we are an eclectic group of stitching and reading women...so do mention what's on your current list when you comment this time, please.

Sending much love and hugs,

Deb

That is going such a pretty house, Deb! :)

I just finished Possession by A.S. Byatt, and it is an *amazing* book. You feel "possessed" with it yourself while reading it.

Now I do hope to read bit of the last HP during the final week before the wedding :)

Oh, your NRR is coming along GREAT, Deb!! Hooray!

I finished Harry Potter last weekend. LOVED it! This week I read "The Photograph" by Penelope Lively. I didn't like it at first, but I'm glad I stuck to it. It's the first novel of hers I've read. Not sure what I'll pick up for next week. :)

Your NRR is coming along nicely Deb.

I finished HP last weekend. Before that I'd been reading Nora Roberts and now I'm reading a Buffy the Vampier Slayer book.

I think you block is coming along beautifully! I was in a book club for a while before marrying my husband and living the nomadic life of an Army family. I have been working on my master's and haven't had any time to read anyhting except for school. Any suggestions?

Love how the RR is turning out! My book club just finished doing A Month in the Country (J.L. Carr). Currently I'm reading Deeds of the Disturber by Elizabeth Peters. I have to second Isabelle's opinion though - Possession was fabulous!
